Dissertation Workshop

Valuable for both faculty and students in the process of working on dissertations.

Nationally renowned researcher Isadore Newman will present a three-day workshop for faculty and students on “Completing the Doctoral Dissertation.”

Faculty will gain tips on guiding dissertations and students will learn how to learn from the community of scholarship created by a dissertation committee.

The first presentation is on Thursday, Nov. 8, 7-9:30 pm, Chan Shun Hall, Room 108.

The second presentation is on Friday, 10 am-12 noon, Bell Hall, Room 114.

The third presentation will be a group activity Friday afternoon, from 1-3 pm in Chan Shun Hall, Room 108.

A Sunday session from 9 am-12 noon in Chan Shun Hall, Room 108, finishes off the three-day event.
