"Fair Trade begins with 10,000 Villages"

Celebrate Creative Arts Festival by learning about Fair Trade Organizations in Nethery Hall from 12-1 pm. Susan Nelson, coordinator of the Goshen Ten Thousand Villages store, presents "Fair Trade begins with 10,000 Villages." Bring a lunch and enjoy the presentation!

Ten Thousand Villages assists artisans in earning a fair wage and providing a better quality of life. It works with over 100 artisan groups in over 30 countries in Africa, Asia, and Latin America.

This year, the Creative Arts Festival is going "green." The planning committee is using some events to explore concerns with ecology and global responsibility. These will be incorporated with traditional artistic events and displays, with events scheduled each day. All events are free and open to the public.
