Rain Gardening Presentation

Horticulture professor Stan Beikmann provides tips on using rainwater in your garden.

Celebrate Creative Arts Week by learning new gardening techniques. Horticulture professor Stan Beikmann will discuss the art of rain gardening in Room 120 of Nethery Hall from 4:30-5:30 pm. He will include tips on how to collect and use rainwater in the garden and provide suggestions on what to plant at the end of the drain spout.

This year, the Festival is going "green." The planning committee is using some events to explore concerns with ecology and global responsibility. These will be incorporated with traditional artistic events and displays, with events scheduled each day. All events are free and open to the public.
