On Nov. 13, 2008, there will be a test of the Short Message Service (SMS) that will be used in case of a campus emergency. All faculty, staff and students who have text message capabilities on their cell phones are encouraged to visit www.andrews.edu/go/myems and add your text-ready cell phone number. This will ensure you are prepared to receive the test message or any potential emergency messages. You can also provide information on who should be contacted if you are involved in an emergency. Your safety matters—thank you for taking a few moments to keep our emergency communication mechanisms in good working order.
