A new “Adventist Voices” podcast, entitled “Beyond the Remnant: Conversations on Adventist Identity with Sigve Tonstad,” is now streaming. Hosted by Shandelle Henson and Julius Nam, this series engages Sigve Tonstad in conversation about his book “Beyond the Remnant.” Episode 1 (“Does your God travel in the blood?”) has just been released. It introduces a number of key themes in the book, beginning with the ways in which ethnicity and culture shape religious identity and how tribal gods may resurface even after we have chosen a new identity in Christ.
