The concert will be held at the Howard Performing Arts Center on the campus of Andrews University in Berrien Springs, Michigan.   Thu, 04 Sep 2025 11:35:08 +0000 Tetelestai: Images of the Sonrise http://www.andrews.edu/agenda/67000 The Southshore Concert Band, conducted by Dale L. Reuss, presents "Tetelestai," a concert for the Risen Christ. This program will use modern concert band music to follow Christ's story from Abraham to the crucifixion and beyond. The Southshore Concert Band is an adult band "in residence" at Lake Michigan College. We are excited to bring this special concert to the Howard Performing Arts Center. The spirit of the concert is a celebratory remembrance of those who have gone before us. The audience will enjoy a variety of musical styles, from classic to popular. A highlight of the program will be the performance of a yet unpublished work by world-class composer Rossano Galante. This wonderful new composition for band was commissioned by the Southshore Concert Band and is titled " Images of the Sonrise ." Guest vocalist Jeff Whittaker will also perform with the band.
