Our students will be sharing their research along with students from universities and colleges in East, Central, and West Africa, and the Philipines under <strong>the theme <em>From Research to Mission: Solutions that Make a Difference</em>. </strong></p> <p> Conference sessions will be held from <strong>7:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. (EST)</strong>, <strong>Sunday, April 19 through Tuesday, April 21, 2026</strong>. We are honored to welcome our plenary presenters, <strong>Dr. Colin Bruce</strong> and <strong>Dr. David Trim</strong>. Dr. Colin Bruce serves as Special Envoy for Humanitarian and Development Affairs at the International Committee of the Red Cross. Prior to this role, he spent 30 years at the World Bank, serving in senior technical and managerial positions, including Director for Strategy and Operations in the Africa Region and Senior Adviser in the Office of the President. Dr. David Trim is Director of Archives, Statistics, and Research at the World Headquarters of the Seventh-day Adventist Church.</p> <p> Participants will benefit from a <strong>multidisciplinary, international conference</strong> <strong>featuring undergraduate and graduate student research</strong>. Sessions will provide opportunities to engage with presenters, ask questions, and participate in discipline-specific conference rooms. White Issues Symposium sponsored by the Center for Adventist Research, the Ellen G. White Estate Branch Office and the Department of Church History. It will be held on <strong>Monday, April 6, 2026, from 9 a.m.–5 p.m.</strong></p> <p> The purpose of this symposium is to break new ground in understanding Ellen White and issues relating to her life, ministry and prophetic gift that have current importance.</p> <p> Papers will be presented with a prepared response. There will be an opportunity to submit questions relating to Ellen White and current issues. As time allows, these questions will be debated at the afternoon panel discussion.
