These talented students from the Department of Music at Andrews University will perform some of the most beautiful and challenging works of the symphony's repertoire.  Join us on this unique evening of virtuosity and elegance, and enjoy the music of Clara Schumann, W. A. Mozart, Beethoven, Mendelssohn, Donizetti and Tchaikovsky.  We are happy to offer this concert to our community free of charge, but patrons will have the opportunity to support the students of the Andrews University Symphony Orchestra, as they are currently raising funds for their music tour to California this coming March.   Program   “Meine Seele ist erschüttert”—L. Tchaikovsky "Mvt. 1 Allegro moderato" Claire Yang, violin     Andrews University Symphony Orchestra Conductor: Marc Élysée The Andrews University Symphony Orchestra is the core ensemble of the orchestral program at Andrews University. In addition to their current series at the Howard Performing Arts Center, the Symphony Orchestra travels within the Great Lakes region as well as internationally. Since 2006, the orchestra has performed in Italy, Austria, Germany, France, the Philippines and Costa Rica.
